Robert B. Toth
President, Chief Executive Officer and Director

Bob Toth became President and CEO of Polypore International, and a member of the Board of Directors, in July 2005, after having served in the same role for four years at CP Kelco ApS, a leading global manufacturer of hydrocolloids. Prior to joining CP Kelco, he progressed through a number of sales, marketing and executive management positions over a 19-year career at Monsanto and its chemical company spinoff, Solutia Inc. Bob earned a bachelor's degree in Industrial Management and Industrial Engineering from Purdue University, and an MBA from the John M. Olin School of Business at Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri.

Lynn Amos
Chief Financial Officer, Treasurer and Secretary

Lynn Amos has served as the Chief Financial Officer since February 2002. Prior to his current role, Lynn worked for four years at The InterTech Group, serving as Director of Corporate Development and Corporate Controller. While at The InterTech Group, Lynn was directly involved in Polypore's corporate finance and acquisition activities. Prior to joining The InterTech Group, Lynn worked in a variety of financial positions at Umbro International, Reeves Industries, Inc. and Price Waterhouse. He holds a bachelor's degree from Western Carolina University and is a Certified Public Accountant.

Phillip Bryson
General Counsel

Phillip Bryson has been General Counsel since July 2004, after having served for 2 years as General Counsel and Corporate Secretary for Polymer Group, Inc., a leading global manufacturer of non-woven fabrics. He previously served as Deputy General Counsel at The InterTech Group where he focused on merger and acquisition activity. Phillip earned his bachelor's degree in Finance and Business Economics from the University of South Carolina, and his Juris Doctor from Columbia University in New York.

John O'Malley
Senior Vice President, Human Resources

John O'Malley came to the company in August 2005. He brings more than 25 years experience in global manufacturing with such companies as Certainteed Corporation, Formica Corporation, Clopay Corporation, and Solutia Inc. Most recently, he served as Senior Vice President-Human Resources for Southfield, Michigan-based GST AutoLeather, where he directed human resources activities for 2,800 employees. John has a bachelor's degree in Psychology from Lafayette College in Easton, Pennsylvania, and is a graduate of the University of Michigan Senior Executive Human Resources Program.

Pierre Hauswald
Vice President & General Manager, Daramic, LLC

In more than 25 years with the company, Pierre Hauswald has served in a variety of roles in the Daramic organization before being named the division's Vice President and General Manager in June 2004. His other executive leadership positions included Vice President of Manufacturing & Engineering; and Worldwide Manufacturing and Site Manager for Daramic in Owensboro, Kentucky and Selestat, France. Before joining Daramic, Pierre held manufacturing management positions for VAG Leichtmetal (SAA),. Sleever International, and for Rossmann SA in France. Pierre received his Engineering degree in Chemistry from INSA in Lyon, France.

Mitch Pulwer
Vice President & General Manager, Celgard, LLC

Mitch Pulwer joined the company in April 2006 after having previously served as Vice President and General Manager at Solutia Inc., where he led the company's interlayer film division. In a 25-year career at Solutia and its former parent, Monsanto, Mitch progressed through a variety of positions in technology, supply chain, business development, marketing and sales. He holds a bachelor's degree in Chemistry from Allegheny College; an MBA from the John M. Olin School of Business at Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri; a PhD in Organic Chemistry from the State University of New York-Buffalo; and a Postdoctoral Fellowship at Yale University.

Josef Sauer
Vice President & General Manager, Membrana GmbH

Josef Sauer, who joined the company in June 2006, previously served as the Business Director for Liquid Coating Resins & Additives at the Belgium-based Cytec Surface Specialties. In all, Josef brings more than 25 years of global leadership experience in both public and private companies to Polypore, including an 18-year career with Hoechst Celanese/Hoechst AG, where he progressed through a number of business management, strategic planning, technology and R&D roles. Josef holds an undergraduate degree in Organic Chemistry, and a PhD in Organic Chemistry from University Dortmund in Dortmund, Germany.
